Showed up running a little late to attend a show at the Connor Palace without reservations and they were able to accommodate us although the restaurant was full and bustling. As luck would have it a table was just leaving and they sat us within 2 or 3 minutes and provided prompt service. Although in a hurry, which they recognized, there was no compromise in the quality of the food - sushi rolls came out quickly followed by salads, soups, and shortly thereafter the main entrees. Made it to the theater with at least 10 minutes to spare and because the service was so prompt, we didn't deal rushed at all! Great experience.

We celebrated my son’s birthday today at Sushi En and we had the BEST experience ever. They treated him like a king and even got him a birthday surprise, mochi ice cream with a candle. This was the best experience especially for an 8 year old sushi lover. The waitress was super nice and the food was delicious.

Our family shared a perfect dinner at this location. We were greeted with the most friendly waitress and the kindness did not stop! While looking over the menu we were brought a complimentary crab salad on greens to share which was delicious. Our waitress was super knowledgeable and helpful for all the questions we had. Started off with some vegetable dumplings which were consumed too fast to snap a photo! Then we had some delicious sushi. The waitresses also gave us mochi ice cream on the house . Such a prefect dining, thank you!

We had Sober Monkey and Hurricane sushi. They were both fabulous. Hurricane left a nice burn. Sober Monkey was amazing and is my new favorite sushi. Our waitress was fantastic and very nice.

I'm not sure if the COVID pandemic was responsible for the demise of Sung's House but the replacement, Sushi En is a real Playhouse Square treasure. I have been here a number of times before shows in the various theaters, most recently for the talented staging of The Tempest by the CWRU Acting Program. I have also visited for lunch a couple of times. Being a devoted fan of sushi, that is what I order. Sushi En has ama ebi with fried heads, a favorite of mine that I used to only be able to get on visits to Tokyo. Now I can indulge my cravings for the delicacy at this playhouse square eatery. On my visit today, the fried head amazingly preserved the long antennae of the shrimp and was beautifully presented. Probably the most artistic such presentation I have seen any where!
